How to Bid
Register online or in person with a valid photo ID. Once approved, you can bid in any Newel Auction via the following methods:
Live Online Bidding
Bid in real-time from anywhere through our secure online platform. Follow the action with live streaming and place bids directly from your computer or mobile device.
Telephone Bidding
Arrange to bid live by phone with a Newel Auctions specialist. Phone bids must be scheduled in advance and are reserved for lots with a minimum estimate of $2,000.
Absentee Bidding
Submit a confidential maximum bid in advance, and we’ll bid on your behalf up to that amount. Absentee bids can be placed online or by contacting our team before the sale.
Timed Auctions
Timed auctions are online-only and open for a set duration. Bids can be placed anytime while the sale is live. If a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes, the lot’s close time extends by another 3 minutes.
